BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: SUNSHINY TECH SUMMER CAMP COMING SOON!!

Hello friends!  I am SO, SO excited to announce that I will offer a Sunshiny Tech Summer Camp this summer beginning on June 8th! Before you say, "No way!  I'm not working this summer!!" 
WAIT!  I PROMISE it's not more work! Here is my vision...

The Sunshiny Tech Summer Camp is simply a resource for you!  Notice we will have a new topic each week.  The new topic's content will be posted each Monday for ten weeks starting on June 8th!
Content will include:

• a definition of the resource/tool
• examples of ways you can engage students using this tool including high quality instructional strategies
• an easy to follow "How-to" video presented by me that will show you how to get started with the tool (NOTE- Even if you are familiar with the tool, you might learn something new!)
• a collaborative activity to share your ideas with other teachers
• a planning activity where you can plan a way to integrate the resource into your curriculum next year 
• a practice activity where you can practice your newfound skills or review what you already know
• additional resources on the topic

This is NOT a formal class.  You do not have to sign up.  You do not have to turn in anything.  This is a fun, casual, way to keep learning this summer.  You can pick and choose which weeks you want to participate. You can pick and choose what you want to gain from the camp...  perhaps you just want to watch the videos.  Perhaps you just want to take a look at the integration examples!  Maybe you want to get a head start on next year and complete the activities.  You are in control of your learning!  Again- super casual and carefree! 

HOWEVER, if you are a teacher in NISD and you DO want formal credit- you WILL have the opportunity to participate each week and submit required activities.  You will find registration information each week available on the site once I start posting the content!  You will be able to earn one hour of TC/CPE/Tech credit each week that you participate!

I am SO excited to share this with you and I hope you will take advantage of these FREE resources!  Again stay tuned for our first week of camp on June 8th!  The topic will be Padlet!  I will post the website link here on my blog on June 8th!
